Gary Vaynerchuck a successful wine company owner who is highly entertaining and motivating speaker. Watch out for:

  • "PP == patience and passion"
  • "legacy is greater than currency"
  • "Build your equity after hours and stop wasting time watching Lost"
  • "There is no reason to do XX you hate, you spend just as much money doing stuff you hate"

  1. Great presentation:
    - Stop doing what you hate today!
    - What do I want to do for the rest of your life? You can monetize it!
    - You need to hassle.
    - Legacy is greater than currency.
    - it is not fun to answer "what wine goes with the fish" 70 times a day
    - I produced most non-scalable app on Earth answering each answer myself
    - build brand equity, yourself, TV is no more in control
    - be completely transparent
    - use all of the social tools
    - where are the video blogs for sports, 2 guys talking about sports every day?
    - patience: he is a douche bag, but he loves being a douche bag
    - how you get money to do what you love? You don't. Stop watching Lost!

My favorite quotations..

“A man should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”  by Robert A. Heinlein
